YOUNG DAVID
In summer 2006 I took some time off work and moved to Sweden to make music. I'm still here, and have a studio in Stockholm where I record my own material, produce for other artists and compose for TV and cinema.
I'm from Birmingham (UK) and have been making music since the age of six when my parents got me violin lessons. They also bought an old piano for my teacher to accompany me on, and the piano took over. I learned guitar as well and started making blues tracks with a four-track tape recorder I borrowed from school. Played piano and keyboards in a soul band and a jazz orchestra, then got more into composing when I went to college.
In 1999 I got my first proper computer with what seemed like half of Abbey Road inside it, and since then there's never been enough hours in the day.
